- Multiple boxes can be combined for weight accumulation for the same receipt. The minimum chargeable weight is 1kg, rounded up to the next 1KG increment.
- The chargeable weight of a single parcel must not exceed 30 kg, and the longest side must not exceed 80 cm. For oversized or overweight items, please contact our customer service for a quote. A single waybill can include a maximum of 25 parcels.
- Ebaoguo will not compensate for deformation, deterioration, melting, damage, or liquid leakage of goods due to environmental changes during transportation. Please package your items properly before shipping.
- Please use the chargeable weight from the waybill, multiplied by the corresponding price in the price table.
- Shipments are processed Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
- If the recipient’s postcode falls within a remote area, FedEx will automatically add a remote area delivery fee (ODA) to the system’s quoted price. You can check this on the Malaysia to New Zealand shipping page, or consult customer service.
- The prices calculated on our website include fuel surcharges, peak season surcharges, and remote area delivery fees. They do not include any secondary fees incurred within the destination country, such as customs clearance fees, address change fees, re-delivery fees, etc. If such fees arise, we will contact the sender for payment.
Taxes and New Zealand Import Regulations
New Zealand’s customs duty threshold is NZD $1000. GST is 15% of the declared value. For details, please see the New Zealand Customs GST and Duty Estimator, and New Zealand Customs’ introduction to import duty rules for goods.
Chargeable weight
Because air transport billing doesn’t solely rely on a parcel’s actual weight; it also considers the parcel’s dimensions, commonly known as volumetric weight.
- a. The chargeable weight will compare each parcel’s actual weight and its volumetric weight, taking the greater of the two.
- For example, if a parcel’s actual weight is 3.1 kg and its volumetric weight is 2.1 kg, then the chargeable weight for this parcel will be 3.1 kg, rounded up to 3.5 kg (if using 500 g increments).
- b. The chargeable weight for a single waybill is the sum of the chargeable weights of each parcel within that waybill.
- c. The international logistics formula for volumetric weight is: Length (cm) × Width (cm) × Height (cm) / 5000.
- For consolidated shipping, the minimum charge is 1 kg (less than 1kg is charged as 1kg). For weights under 10kg, increments are 500g. For weights over 10 kg, increments are 1 kg. For example, a 1.3kg parcel will be charged as 1.5kg, and a 10.2kg parcel will be charged as 11KG.
- If the actual weight is within 2 kg and the volumetric weight does not exceed 5 kg, only the exact weight will be rounded up in 500g increments (e.g., a 1.3kg parcel will be charged as 1.5kg).
Example
For example: Xiao Ming wants to mail two parcels to the same recipient.
Parcel 1’s actual weight is 4KG. Volumetric weight is 36(cm) × 35(cm) × 30(cm) / 5000 = 7.56kg. Thus, Parcel 1’s chargeable weight will be calculated as 8KG.
Parcel 2’s actual weight is 10KG. Volumetric weight is 36(cm) × 35(cm) × 30(cm) / 5000 = 7.56kg. Thus, Parcel 2’s chargeable weight will be calculated as 10KG.
Therefore, Xiao Ming’s waybill will have a total chargeable weight of 8KG + 10KG = 18KG.
