- All packages arriving at our warehouse will be unpacked, inspected, photographed, measured for dimensions and weight, and have their package attributes defined.
- We cannot ship goods without proof of value or purchase receipts. There is a risk that you may be unable to provide the necessary documentation if customs conducts a random inspection.
- Due to the nature of consolidated shipping, we do not provide customers with any customs declaration documents. If you require these documents, please contact customer service before submitting your package for shipment.
- Ebaoguo is solely responsible for transportation. Ebaoguo is not liable if customs inspect or confiscate the contents of the package.
- Everything goes smoothly: Customs releases the goods, and they are delivered to our warehouse or handed over to a third-party logistics provider after container devanning.
- Random document/shipment check: Customs may randomly inspect documents or packages and request that the sender provide additional product and related information before release.
- AQIS Quarantine Inspection: If customs requires an AQIS quarantine inspection, it will typically be converted to a formal customs declaration. Customs will conduct an on-site inspection or send the goods to a laboratory for testing. Please refer to the following potential fees:
- Customs Broker Fee: AU$110 + GST
- Customs Documentation Fee: AU$165 + GST
- AQIS Inspection Warehouse Fee: AU$180 + GST and up
- Suspected Under-declaration (EMPP):
- Customs Broker Fee: AU$110 + GST
- Customs Documentation Fee: AU$165 + GST
- Any taxes or re-declaration fees incurred will be charged based on the actual customs bill.
- If customs requires an inspection, it cannot be cancelled arbitrarily. If the recipient insists on destruction, new customs document fees, customs-designated destruction fees, and various other new charges will arise. These will be charged based on actual costs after customs completes the destruction.
- We have no right or ability to interfere with customs inspection actions. We recommend that you declare the actual purchase value when shipping.
- We cannot advise you on declaration amounts, help you complete declarations, or assist with under-declaration. Please understand.
- Ebaoguo is solely responsible for transportation.
- Ebaoguo is not liable if customs inspect or confiscate the contents of the package.
- Even if the true value of your goods is only AU$10, they are still subject to customs inspection. The reference fees listed above will still apply and will not be waived.
Essential Reading Regarding Australian Imports
According to Australian import regulations, regardless of the service line you choose:
- Customs Declaration Fee: ¥825 (≈AU$165) (including GST)
- Import Duty: 5% of the declared value(for most products)
- GST: 10% of (Product Declared Value + Shipping Fee + Insurance + Duty)
- Declared product names (HSCODE) are limited to 5. An additional ¥27.5 (≈AU$5.5) per item (including GST) will be charged for each additional item.
- Customs Electronic Processing Fee:
a. Declared value over AU$1000 but less than AU$10,000: ¥565 (≈AU$113)
b. Declared value equal to or greater than AU$10,000: ¥1075 (≈AU$215) - If inspected by customs, fees will be charged based on the actual customs bill, plus an additional Customs Clearance Broker Fee of AU$125.00.
- For the same recipient information in the same batch, the declared values of all waybills will be cumulatively calculated. If the total value exceeds ¥4600 (≈approximately AU$1000), customs duties will be applied.
- It is crucial to accurately declare the contents of a package. If customs inspects, confiscates, or imposes fines due to undeclared or false declarations, the customer will be responsible for all associated costs and liabilities.

Fumigation Fee
Rattan, bamboo, wooden products or packaging: Australian regulations require that all wood-based materials must undergo fumigation before importation. If your goods or packaging contain wood, fumigation treatment is mandatory.
Bamboo/wooden items incur a fumigation fee of ¥100 (≈AU $ 20) per 0.2m³. Volumes less than 0.2m³ will be charged as 0.2m³. (Fumigation fees are calculated based on either the volumetric weight or actual chargeable weight on the air waybill. If you have only a small quantity requiring fumigation, consider submitting separate shipments.)Packaging Fee
Heavy or fragile items such as furniture and machinery should be protected with wooden frames or crates. Please remind your seller to use clean, smooth wooden strips or plywood only. The use of moldy wood, bark-on timber, or wood with visible insect holes is strictly prohibited, as it will fail fumigation standards. If non-compliant wood is detected, we will mandatorily rebuild or repair the crate/frame at your expense.- Wooden Frame + Fumigation Packaging Fee: ¥100 (≈AU $ 20) / 0.1m³
- Note: Wooden pallets also incur fumigation fees.
Quarantine Inspection Fee
This fee applies only if quarantine inspection is conducted by Australian authorities. The exact amount will be based on the official invoice issued by the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF), and will be billed to you on a cost-recovery basis.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I shop?
Our service is ideal for Taobao, Pinduoduo, JD.com, and other Chinese e-commerce platforms, as well as for shipping personal items. As long as you can ship or deliver your parcels to our warehouse, we can handle the rest.
I’ll pick up from your warehouse—can I leave the address blank when submitting my shipment?
Regardless of whether you choose home delivery or self-pickup, you must provide your real legal name (matching your passport or driver’s license) and a valid Australian residential address (matching a utility, phone, or bank statement) when submitting your shipment. This information is used for customs clearance. Any customs penalties or fees resulting from incorrect information will be your sole responsibility.
My parcels are arriving at the warehouse separately—can I submit multiple shipment orders?
For shipments under the same recipient name and address, we consolidate declarations each time you ship. The declared values accumulate across shipments. If the total exceeds AUD $ 1,000, additional GST and duties will apply. To avoid this, you may use different recipient names/addresses. Note: chargeable weights are not combined across different shipment orders. However, we strongly advise submitting one consolidated shipment per recipient/address to avoid Australian customs suspecting tariff evasion, which could result in penalties or extra fees.
The dimensions/weight recorded by your warehouse differ from what the seller stated—what should I do?
Our China warehouse measures and weighs every inbound parcel. If you dispute the measurements, you may request a re-measurement with staff upon arrival at our Australia warehouse.
I want to return an item—can you refuse delivery?
Our warehouse cannot identify return items upon receipt. After your parcel is received, please submit a return address, and we’ll arrange outbound shipping. Note: We do not accept courier pickups arranged directly by sellers at our China warehouse.
Can you consolidate my boxes?
Yes! When you submit multiple parcels, we’ll consolidate smaller items into your larger original boxes whenever possible to prevent loss and reduce volumetric weight. Consolidation is free. If we need to use a new box, a box fee (¥15) will apply. Final dimensions may differ from your initial submission; the system will use the actual consolidated volumetric weight for freight calculation. If you wish to exclude certain parcels from consolidation, please note this in the shipment remarks.
I bought many items—can I just give a rough description?
You must declare all items accurately in English when submitting your shipment. For similar items (e.g., clothing), you may group them as “Clothes” but must state the true purchase value. Customs may randomly audit shipments and request proof of purchase (e.g., invoices or screenshots). Any penalties due to inaccurate declarations are your responsibility.

Measurement Methods for Irregular Parcels
① Standard Parcel Measurement:
For regular cardboard boxes, volumetric weight is calculated using L × W × H.

② Bulging Parcel Measurement:
If the box bulges due to internal pressure, measurement is based on the longest protruding dimension.

③ Irregular Parcel Measurement:
For non-boxed or oddly shaped items, volumetric weight is calculated using the longest side in each dimension.

What Can I Ship?
The items we list as “shippable” mean they are accepted by our logistics partners and can depart from the origin country.
