• All packages arriving at our warehouse will be unpacked, inspected, photographed, measured for dimensions and weight, and have their package attributes defined.
• We cannot ship goods without proof of value or purchase receipts. There is a risk that you may be unable to provide the necessary documentation if customs conducts a random inspection.
• Due to the nature of consolidated shipping, we do not provide customers with any customs declaration documents. If you require these documents, please contact customer service before submitting your package for shipment.
• Ebaoguo is solely responsible for transportation. Ebaoguo is not liable if customs inspect or confiscate the contents of the package.
• Everything goes smoothly: Customs releases the goods, and they are delivered to our warehouse or handed over to a third-party logistics provider after container devanning.
• Random document/shipment check: Customs may randomly inspect documents or packages and request that the sender provide additional product and related information before release.
• AQIS Quarantine Inspection: If customs requires an AQIS quarantine inspection, it will typically be converted to a formal customs declaration. Customs will conduct an on-site inspection or send the goods to a laboratory for testing. Please refer to the following potential fees:

  • Customs Documentation Fee: AU$165 + GST
  • AQIS Inspection Warehouse Fee: AU$180 + GST and up
• Suspected Under-declaration (EMPP):
  • Customs Broker Fee: AU$110 + GST

  • Any taxes or re-declaration fees incurred will be charged based on the actual customs bill.
• If customs requires an inspection, it cannot be cancelled arbitrarily. If the recipient insists on destruction, new customs document fees, customs-designated destruction fees, and various other new charges will arise. These will be charged based on actual costs after customs completes the destruction.
• We have no right or ability to interfere with customs inspection actions. We recommend that you declare the actual purchase value when shipping.
• We cannot advise you on declaration amounts, help you complete declarations, or assist with under-declaration. Please understand.
• Ebaoguo is solely responsible for transportation.
• Ebaoguo is not liable if customs inspect or confiscate the contents of the package.
• Even if the true value of your goods is only AU$10, they are still subject to customs inspection. The reference fees listed above will still apply and will not be waived.

Shipping Fees (Prices effective February 1, 2023)

• Pricing Standard: ￥14 (≈AU$2.8)/kg * chargeable weight. The initial weight is 5kg (shipments under 5kg will be charged as 5kg). Subsequent weight increments under 1kg will be charged as 1kg.
  

• Chargeable Weight: The greater of the actual weight or volumetric weight (Length * Width * Height / 5000 cm).

• Example: 5.3kg will be charged as 6kg, i.e., 6kg * ￥14 (≈AU$2.8) = ￥84 (≈AU$16.8).

• This service line is for self-pickup at our Melbourne pickup points. You can also arrange for a courier to pick up from our Melbourne warehouse (an additional fee of ￥5 (≈AU$1) per waybill will apply if we need to affix the courier label).

What Can I Ship?

Transit Time

• Cut-off is every Wednesday, with container loading the following Wednesday (waybills submitted before the cut-off date will be prioritised for loading).
• Arrival at our Melbourne warehouse is 30-45 days after container loading (subject to delays if a customs inspection is required). Melbourne customs clearance typically takes 3-5 business days, after which shipments are sent to our Melbourne warehouse for sorting and then distributed to various self-pickup points.
• If you need to change the address after the waybill has been dispatched, an additional fee of ￥125 (≈AU$25) per waybill will apply.

Freight Rates (Effective August 1, 2022)

Pricing Structure:
The minimum chargeable weight is 5 kg. Parcels weighing less than 5 kg will be billed as 5 kg. Additional weight is rounded up—any fraction of 1 kg is charged as a whole kilogram.

Chargeable Weight:
Billing is based on the greater of actual weight or volumetric weight, calculated as:
(Length × Width × Height) ÷ 5,000 (in centimetres).

Note on Duties & Taxes:
The terms “Duties/Taxes Included” or “Not Included” refer specifically to Australian GST and Import Duty.
If your shipment’s declared value exceeds AUD $1,000 and you select a non-duties-paid service, the system will automatically calculate applicable GST, import duty, and other customs fees at checkout.
For formal customs clearance, please contact customer service before shipping.

Service Restrictions

• The following postcodes are classified as island or remote areas with no delivery service:
  2898–2899, 6798–6799, 7151–7154, 6324, 4280, 4551.
• A single shipment order may contain up to 99 parcels (maximum).
• Unloading is not included in this service. For any parcel over 25 kg, the recipient must arrange their own forklift or manual unloading. Any waiting time or unloading fees incurred during delivery will be charged to you.

What Can I Ship?

Transit Time

• Cut-off day: Every Wednesday
• Container loading: Following Thursday (shipments submitted before the cut-off are prioritised)
• Transit time from container loading to arrival at Melbourne or Sydney port: approximately 30 days
• Customs clearance: 3–5 business days
• After clearance, parcels are handed to local couriers. Local delivery times cannot be guaranteed—your understanding is appreciated.

Additional Fees:

• Address change after dispatch: ¥150 (≈AU$30) per shipment
• Return due to incomplete address or prolonged storage: Base fee of ¥100 (≈AU$20) per shipment (exact cost confirmed by customer service)

Packing Rules

• Multiple parcels can be included in one shipment; chargeable weights are summed.
• Maximum single parcel weight: 79 kg
• An overweight fee applies to parcels with a chargeable weight > 30 kilograms.
• Recommendation: Parcels with actual weight over 30 kg should be palletised. Contact customer service for pricing.
• Maximum length per parcel: 2.4 meters
  → Parcels longer than 1.1 meters incur oversize fees.
• The sum of the two shorter sides must not exceed 150 cm.

Potential Additional Fees

• >30 parcels per shipment: Handling fee of ¥1 (≈AU$0.20) per parcel
  Example: 40 parcels → (40 – 30) × ¥1 = ¥10 (≈AU$2)
• Free unpacking & consolidation service provided
  → We prioritise your original boxes. If insufficient, we’ll use warehouse cartons at ¥15 (≈AU$3) per box (no prior notice).
• 【Multi-Angle Photo】 inspection service: ¥10 (≈AU$2) for 5 high-resolution photos (select during parcel forecast or in your parcel list).

Australia Domestic Delivery

• Final-mile carriers may include: Australia Post, Aramex, TNT, or Toll (assigned based on parcel size, weight, and destination).
• Delivery times vary by location and courier workload.
• Couriers typically leave a calling card or place parcels in a safe location.
• Re-delivery fees, if incurred, will be charged to you.
• Note: Australian couriers generally do not contact recipients before delivery.
• For delivery issues, use your waybill tracking number to contact the courier directly via their support portal.

Customs Clearance

Important Notes

• Maximum declared value per shipment: ¥4,600 (≈AUD $1,000)
• Consolidation is offered as needed; chargeable weight is based on the final consolidated package.
• Recipients of parcels over 25 kg (actual weight) must arrange their own unloading equipment (e.g., forklift).
• All parcels must be shipped in cardboard boxes. Sack or bag packaging is not accepted. To avoid repacking fees, ask your seller to use cartons.
• After consolidation, no single dimension may exceed 120 cm. Oversized items incur additional fees.
• Acceptable items: Home appliances, furniture, household goods, clothing, toys, books, and electronics with batteries ≤100Wh (including power banks).
• Prohibited items: Food, liquids, medicines, and other sensitive goods. (See the complete prohibited list at the bottom of our website.)

Special Item Fees

• Outdoor power stations/e-bike batteries (max 20 kg/unit): ¥225 (≈AU$45) per unit
• Power banks (<100Wh): ¥25 (≈AU$5) per unit
• E-bikes: ¥275 (≈AU$55) per unit
  → Must meet all of the following criteria (shipment rejected if any limit is exceeded):
  • Length ≤ 1.25 m, Width ≤ 0.7 m, Height ≤ 1.35 m
  • Total weight (including battery) ≤ 60 kg
  • Max speed ≤ 25 km/h

Wood & Pallet Handling

• Bamboo/wooden products: Fumigation fee applies from 0.5 m³
  → Volumes under 0.5 m³ charged a minimum fee of ¥600 (≈AU$120)
• Palletised shipments:
  • Single pallet >60 kg → ¥50 (≈AU$10) inbound handling fee
  • Pallet disassembly: ¥325 (≈AU$65) per pallet (not done by default)
  • Wooden crates/frames are not disassembled; billing includes full dimensions and weight of packaging.

Declaration & Compliance

• Declare all goods accurately (item name, quantity, value).
  → You may submit declarations after your seller ships. System auto-matches upon warehouse receipt.
  → We may request proof of purchase (e.g., invoice) per customs requirements.
• For small-parcel clearance:
  • Consignee must be a real individual (not a company).
  • PO Boxes, Locked Bags, Parcel Lockers, Collect Points, or Ebaoguo warehouse addresses are strictly prohibited.
  • You are fully responsible for penalties resulting from incorrect information.

Payment & Liability

• Payment is required before dispatch.
  → Download an official Invoice from our website (includes prepaid duties/taxes if applicable).
• We are responsible only for transportation.
  → Not liable for: wrong/missing items, colour/size/style mismatches, seam splitting, fading, melting, or other product-related issues.
  → Use add-on inspection services to verify contents before shipping.

Insurance (Optional)

• Coverage: 5% of declared value
• Requirements: Valid purchase invoice + purchase before dispatch
• Not available for personal, second-hand, or non-invoice-backed items
• Compensation:
  • Without insurance: Up to ¥500 per shipment (including freight)
  • With insurance: Up to ¥2,500 per shipment
  • No compensation for damage, deformation, spoilage, or partial loss—only for total disappearance of the parcel.

• We can assist in arranging local courier delivery once your goods arrive at the warehouse—fees are charged at actual cost.

Potential Additional Fees

• If a single shipment contains more than 30 parcels, a handling fee of ¥1 (≈AU$0.2) per parcel applies. For example, 40 parcels will incur (40 – 30) × ¥1 (≈AU$0.2) = ¥10 (≈AU$2) in handling fees.
• We offer free unpacking and consolidation. We prioritise using your original shipping boxes. If they’re insufficient, we’ll automatically use warehouse-provided cartons at ¥15 (≈AU$3) per box, without prior notice.
• To inspect your items, select the 【Multi-Angle Photo】 add-on service during parcel forecast or in your parcel list: ¥10 (≈AU$2) for 5 high-resolution photos.

Important Notes

• Any parcel with an actual weight over 30kg must be palletised or fitted with forklift skids. Wooden crates/frames require mandatory fumigation.
• Parcels with chargeable weight over 30kg incur an overweight fee of ¥75 (≈AU$15) per piece.
• Parcels with a chargeable weight of 80kg or more incur an overweight fee of ¥180 (≈AU$36) per piece.

• Suitable for: home appliances, furniture, household goods, clothing, toys, books, and electronics containing batteries ≤ 100 Wh.
• Prohibited items include food, liquids, medicines, and other sensitive goods (see the prohibited items list at the bottom of the website).
• Bamboo/wooden products incur fumigation fees: ¥800 (≈AU$160) per shipment for volumes under 5m³; ¥1,750 (≈AU$350) per shipment for 5m³ or more.
• Wooden crates require skid installation: ¥50 (≈AU$10) per crate; hinge installation: ¥50 (≈AU$10) per unit.
• Pallets are not disassembled upon receipt. If you request pallet disassembly, an extra handling fee of ¥325 (≈AU$65) per pallet applies. Similarly, crates or wooden frames are kept intact. Measurements for billing will include the full dimensions and weight of the pallet/crate/frame.
• You must declare all goods accurately (item name, quantity, value). You may submit your declaration after your seller ships. Once parcels are received, the system auto-matches your declaration. After dispatch, we will contact you to provide proof of purchase (e.g., invoice), and payment must be completed before shipping.
• Customs declarations must use the consignee’s (individual’s) real name and residential address. PO Boxes, Locked Bags, Parcel Lockers, Collect Points, or Ebaoguo warehouse addresses are strictly prohibited. Please provide accurate information—you are fully responsible for any customs or federal penalties resulting from incorrect declarations.
• We are responsible only for transportation. We do not assume liability for inherent product defects or quality issues (e.g., wrong items shipped by seller; colour/size/style mismatches; seam splitting, fading, melting during transit, etc.).
• Each shipment declaration includes up to 5 HS codes at no extra cost. Additional HS codes are charged at ¥27 (≈AU$5.5) per code.
• If customs inspection results in AQIS holding fees, the recipient is responsible for these charges.
• Insurance is optional. You may purchase coverage for 5% of the declared value, but you must provide a purchase invoice, and insurance must be purchased before dispatch. Insurance does not cover personal, second-hand, or non-invoice-backed items.
  – Without insurance: maximum compensation for loss is ¥500 per shipment (including freight).
  – With insurance: maximum coverage is ¥2,500 per shipment.
  – No compensation is provided for damage, deformation, spoilage, or any loss other than total parcel disappearance.

• Fumigation Fee
  Rattan, bamboo, wooden products or packaging: Australian regulations require that all wood-based materials must undergo fumigation before importation. If your goods or packaging contain wood, fumigation treatment is mandatory.
  Bamboo/wooden items incur a fumigation fee of ¥100 (≈AU $ 20) per 0.2m³. Volumes less than 0.2m³ will be charged as 0.2m³. (Fumigation fees are calculated based on either the volumetric weight or actual chargeable weight on the air waybill. If you have only a small quantity requiring fumigation, consider submitting separate shipments.)
  Packaging Fee
  Heavy or fragile items such as furniture and machinery should be protected with wooden frames or crates. Please remind your seller to use clean, smooth wooden strips or plywood only. The use of moldy wood, bark-on timber, or wood with visible insect holes is strictly prohibited, as it will fail fumigation standards. If non-compliant wood is detected, we will mandatorily rebuild or repair the crate/frame at your expense.
  • Wooden Frame + Fumigation Packaging Fee: ¥100 (≈AU $ 20) / 0.1m³
  • Note: Wooden pallets also incur fumigation fees.
  Quarantine Inspection Fee
  This fee applies only if quarantine inspection is conducted by Australian authorities. The exact amount will be based on the official invoice issued by the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF), and will be billed to you on a cost-recovery basis.
