Shipping from Japan to Singapore

Japan Warehouse Usage Instructions
- Before your parcel enters the Japan warehouse, you need to pre-declare it in the Ebaoguo system. If you do not pre-declare, you will not be able to view your parcel’s information.
- Upon arrival at the Japan warehouse, photos of the parcel’s outer packaging will be provided; however, a free photo service for the parcel’s contents is not offered. If needed, you can submit a value-added service request for photos of individual parcels.
- Please read the [Prohibited Items List] carefully before mailing. If you are unsure whether an item can be sent, please don’t hesitate to contact us before placing your order. Returns after warehousing will incur return shipping fees.
- When submitting more than one parcel in a single waybill, a parcel handling fee of JPY￥200 per parcel will be charged. For example, if three parcels are submitted, the system will automatically charge 3 * JPY￥200 = JPY￥600 in parcel handling fees.
- Japan Warehouse Storage Period:
- Free storage for up to 15 days (D being the day the parcel arrives at the warehouse). After this period, a handling fee of JPY¥100 per parcel per day will be charged. Parcels will be regularly destroyed after 30 days.
- After applying for consolidated packing, please make payment within 5 days after the waybill status changes to “waiting for payment.” After this period, a handling fee of JPY¥100 per parcel per day will be charged. Parcels will be regularly destroyed after 30 days.
Packaging Requirements
- Maximum parcel weight within 30kg (chargeable weight)
- Calculated by actual weight, starting from 1kg, rounded up to the nearest 500g.
- The first weight is 1kg. If it’s less than 1kg, it will still be charged as 1kg (e.g., 0.8kg will be charged as 1kg).
- Length (longest side) = within 1.5 meters
- Length (longest side) + Girth = within 3 meters
- One waybill per parcel, multiple parcels do not accumulate weight.
- Once shipped, the recipient address cannot be changed.
Shipping Costs and Delivery Days

- Actual shipping costs and service fees will be recalculated after the items are packed.
- When calculating, please select to ship from Ebaoguo Japan warehouse, choose your desired destination, declare value (optional), weight, and product type to find out the postage and estimated delivery days.
- Once your payment is successful, we will promptly hand over your parcel to Japan Post. The estimated transit time written on the Japan Post website will start from the moment Japan Post receives the parcel we submit.
- Please understand that for some countries or regions, delivery days cannot be displayed temporarily due to local conditions, etc.
Singapore Taxes and Related Information
- Japan Post’s shipping fees do not include customs duties and customs fees of the destination country or region.
- Effective January 1, 2024, Singapore’s GST (Goods and Services Tax) increased to 9% + 2.5% of the declared goods value as customs clearance fee.

Insurance Fees
- Due to channel reasons, the maximum declared value for a single waybill when shipping via Ebaoguo Japan Post EMS is JPY 100,000. If the amount exceeds this limit, you must submit a new waybill.
- If the parcel product exceeds JPY 100,000 and cannot be split, Ebaoguo Japan will not be able to transport it.
- Ebaoguo Japan will provide free insurance of JPY 10,000 for your waybill parcel. If your declared value is less than JPY 10,000, you do not need to purchase additional insurance.
- If your declared value exceeds JPY 10,000 but is less than JPY 100,000, to obtain more loss compensation, you can purchase loss insurance at 5% of the declared value.
