Shipping from China to Australia by Air
Regarding the shipping options available for small packages from China to Australia, two options are provided:
- Air Freight General Goods Line: This option is suitable for shipping small packages containing non-sensitive goods. It is designed for general items that do not require special handling or additional precautions during transportation.
- Air Freight Sensitive Goods Line: This option is intended to ship small packages containing sensitive or delicate goods. It is suitable for items that require extra care, such as electronics, fragile items, or temperature-sensitive products.

- Additional weight: Charged in increments of 0.5kg
- Chargeable weight: Calculated based on actual and dimensional weight (length x width x height / 5000 cm). The larger value is used for billing.
- Example calculation: If the chargeable weight is 5.3kg, it will be rounded to 5.5 kilograms for billing. (1kg * AU$36) + (4.5kg * AU$18) = AU$117
Shipping Time
- Cut-off time: Every Thursday (extended to the next working day during Chinese holidays)
- Warehouse sorting: 2-4 working days after the cut-off time
- Delivery time: Approximately ten working days after loading onto the plane (may be extended for customs inspection)
- Delivery in Australia: Mainly through Australia Post; remote areas may use local logistics
- If the recipient is unavailable, a card will be left, or the package will be placed in a safe location
Shipping Guidelines:
- This route defaults to one package per shipment.
- Multiple packages can be submitted separately.
- Individual item limitations:
- Actual weight not exceeding 22kg
- The longest side not exceeding 100cm
- Volume not exceeding 0.25m³

Important Notes
- Customs declaration must be made under the recipient’s real name and address (individual, not company name).
- Post offices, PO boxes, locked bags, parcel lockers, or parcel collection locations cannot be used as delivery addresses.
- Accuracy of information is crucial, and responsibility lies with the sender for any customs or federal liability.
- Change of delivery address after shipment is not allowed.
How to use EBAOGUO service shipping from China to Australia?
Before starting, ensure you understand the items you want to ship and the international shipping policies. Ensure the items comply with China and Australia’s shipping and import regulations.
Step 1: Sign up and log in to https://ebaoguo.com. Upon login, you will be given the Ebaoguo China Warehouse address and a unique support code.
Step 2: Next, shop from any online store in China or prepare your package and then ship it to the Ebaoguo China Warehouse.
Step 3: You will receive an email notification Once your packages arrive at the Ebaoguo China Warehouse. You can also expedite the submission process by filling in the incoming parcel declaration when the supplier sends your items.
Step 4: Proceed to the “My Parcels” section and submit all packages by entering your residential address in Australia and completing the customs declaration form.
Step 5: If needed, you can select additional services the China Warehouse provides, such as parcel consolidation. After you submit your request, your packages will begin to be processed.
Step 6: You will receive a final billing summary via email once your packages are ready for shipment. After we receive your payment, your parcels will be lined up for the following shipment schedule.
Step 7: We will send an email notification when your shipments arrive at our Australia Warehouse. At this point, you can arrange for pickup from the warehouse or select local courier delivery. If delivery has been chosen, wait for the delivery of your parcels.

We provide a free consolidation service. If your original carton is unable to fit all your small parcels, we will use the warehouse cartons. The followings are the dimensions of the cartons used in our warehouse and the volumetric weight used for easy calculation.

Warehouse Storage Time
1. Packages over one cubic meter:
- Chinese warehouses provide 45 days of free storage. After that, a storage fee of ¥1(≈AU$0.2) per 20 kg will be charged daily and automatically added when you submit the shipping order. The minimum charge is ¥1(≈AU$0.2)/day, and parcels not picked up after 45 days will be disposed of without further notice to the customer.
- Australian warehouses will immediately notify the recipient to pick up the packages shipped from China and provide a free 7-day storage service. After that, there will be a storage fee of AUD$1/piece/day. The warehouse will dispose of packages that have not been picked up after 60 days.
*Unclaimed packages will be stored for free in Chinese warehouses for 45 days, and the warehouse will dispose of those that remain unclaimed after 45 days.
2. Goods over one cubic meter:
- Chinese warehouses provide 30 days of free storage. After that, a storage fee of AUD$15.00/cubic meter/week will be charged daily and automatically added when you submit the shipping order. The packages that have not been picked up after 45 days will be disposed of without further notice to the customer.
- Australian warehouses will immediately notify the recipient to pick up the packages shipped from China and provide a free 7-day storage service. After that, a storage fee of AUD$15/cubic meter/week will be charged. The warehouse will dispose of packages that have not been picked up after 30 days.
*Unclaimed packages will be stored for free in Chinese warehouses for 45 days, and the warehouse will dispose of those that remain unclaimed after 45 days.
FAQ
You can purchase from Taobao, Pinduoduo, JD or buy from shops and ship your parcels to our China warehouse.
If a parcel addressed to you contains goods or packages for other people (such as your friends or relatives) and the parcel has a declared or assessed value of more than AUD1000, you will need to lodge an Import Declaration. Duty, taxes, and charges, where applicable, are payable for all the goods in that parcel.
Customs law does not permit a parcel to be split or broken down into separate items for assessment, even when the items were imported for other people.
Our China warehouse will measure and weigh each parcel that arrives at our warehouse into your ebaoguo account. If there are any queries regarding size and weight, you can check the pictures provided in your parcel lists. For direct communication, you can contact our customer service via chats.
Due to the large volume of parcels arrives our China warehouse every day, we are unable to refuse any parcels at the time of delivery. However, you can submit the parcel that you would like to return from your parcel list, there will be local delivery shipping fees occur. We do not accept return pickup arranged by the sender, this is to minimise risks of random pickups from the warehouse and leads to parcel missing in transit.
When you submit the parcels for your shipments, the China warehouse will consolidate your parcels into your current bigger boxes for free, this is to minimise risks of small parcels lost in transit. If your current largest box is not big enough, the warehouse will use our own specific size carton to fit all your small parcels into the boxes, there will be new carton charges applies. The warehouse will record the size of the shipments based on final consolidation parcels. If you do not want your parcels to be unpacked by the warehouse for consolidation, please leave a note when submitting your shipments.
You can not randomly declare items in your shipments. All declarations must be filled in English, with specific products name and prices. For example, cooking pans, kettles, you can not declare as kitchen essentials, you will need to declare every single item in your shipments. If goods are being assessed by Customs, we may request evidence of purchase from you. Incorrectly declare value can result in paying duties, taxes, and charges that occur.

Note: If the above-mentioned contraband has been included in the packaging or has not been declared truthfully, which results in any form of return, fine, or even criminal penalties recipients will be responsible for this.

Insurance

Insurance
- Insurance is not mandatory, you can purchase insurance at 5% of the declared value. Before purchasing, you must provide the invoice when the product was purchased, and insurance needs to be purchased before shipment.
- Insurance is not applicable to personal and second-hand goods or goods that cannot provide a purchase invoice.
- If you don’t buy insurance and it’s lost, a maximum of R¥500 per shipment will be compensated (including freight).
- If you buy insurance and it’s lost, the maximum insurance amount per shipment is ¥2500. Apart from parcel loss, any other forms of damage, deformation, or deterioration will not be compensated.
- Insurance only covers loss; insurance will not cover damage inside or outside the box or cargo.
- The maximum amount of insurance compensation for a shipment is 1,000 Australian dollars.
- If the parcels are not received within 60 working days after dispatch, they will be confirmed as lost (this applies to airfreight shipments).
- When you declare insurance, you will need to provide proof of purchase, such as invoices or payment records, which need to match the amount you declared in the shipment.
- Insurance can only compensate for losses, not damages to the parcel.

Insurance Not Cover
- Incorrect declaration of the cargo leads to delays in shipments.
- Improper or insufficient packing, securing, marking, or addressing the shipments.
- Any delay in the delivery, inability or failure to complete a delivery due to acts or omission of Customs or other regulatory agencies.
- Any damage in transit for fragile items.
- Failure or inability to attempt to contact the Sender or Recipient concerning incomplete or inaccurate address, incorrect or incomplete documentation, non-payment of duties and taxes necessary to release a Shipment or incomplete or incorrect customs broker’s address.
- Loss or damage to any package for which Ebaoguo has no record of receiving the parcel.
- Damage to briefcases, luggage, garment bags, aluminium cases, plastic cases, or other items whose outer finish might be damaged by adhesive labels, soiling, or marking unless placed in an adequate, protective container for the shipment.
- Damage, delay, or loss of any shipment containing any prohibited item.
