Wondering if a courier can collect your Taobao return in Taiwan? Here is what actually works, what does not, and how to avoid getting stuck.

Can Taobao arrange a return pickup in Taiwan?

"Taipei

Short answer: usually not in the way you hope. When you buy on Taobao inside mainland China, the “door-to-door return pickup” button (上門取件) is powered by domestic couriers such as SF Express, YTO or ZTO. Those services collect from addresses inside the mainland. If your delivery address is in Taiwan, the button often disappears, fails, or shows an error when you try to book.

That is why so many Taiwan-based buyers search for this exact problem. The return itself may be approved by the seller, but the pickup step cannot reach you. In most cases you will need to ship the item back yourself, or use a forwarder to do it for you.
